My Norwegian “avant-garde Black Metal favorites” from SLAGMAUR also delight us with another work, this time an entire album. “Von Rov Shelter” only contains 7 songs, if you want to call the sound constructs that, excluding the intro.
Soundtrack-like structures such as “Lange Knivers Natt” or “Klokker Tramp” can even be heard, elements of what makes this work much more enjoyable than the inadequacies of its predecessor can also be found in the other tracks. The Chose is not easy to digest, however, and “Drako Gigant” or “Ramaskrik” are still difficult to grasp with conventional descriptions. - Terrorvlag
